I thought of some more ideas to blog after i did that previous one...

Here are some more questions im going to ask myself when making my magazine...

Why has the magazine used that font in that size? and Why is it that colour? What is going to make my magazine unique? Why do you want to buy my magazine rather than any other?

I have been looking at different music genres of magazines and have realised that there are alot of magazines avaliable for young girls interested in popluar chart music, but not so much of a mixed gender or male music magazine. So I have decided that my target audience will be mixed gender interested in popular chart music. I have chosen to do mixed gender so that i can bring a new product into the market. I need to decide where abouts I am going to shoot my front cover. This will obviously need to be appealing to my audience, A friendly environment should be used.

What should I expect in a music magazine?
Interviews of popular artists
Pull out posters
Write ups from previous gigs
Upcoming events
Ticket sales
Links to popular events
Reviews on popluar singles, albums, gigs etc...
Pictures
This weeks chart

I have decided to do a weekly magazine to promote sales and get more money to make a profit from what was originally spent to start up this magazine. I could sometimes promote this magazine by having a FREE cd, poster, t-shirt etc...I would like to have my magazine advertised widely so I will need to be making a good profit from the magazine
.
